What We Cover in Pool School
In one hour at your pool, we walk through everything you need to know to understand — and confidently manage — your pool. Whether you're a new pool owner or just want to understand what your service company is actually doing, Pool School gives you the knowledge.
Equipment Walkthrough
We go over every piece of equipment at your pool — pump, filter, heater, salt system, automation, valves — and explain what each one does, how it works, and what to watch for.
How Your Pool Circulates
We explain the flow of water through your system, why circulation matters, and how to optimize your pump schedule for your pool's size and usage.
Water Chemistry Basics
We cover pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and cyanuric acid — what each parameter means, why it matters, and how they interact with each other.
Why Balance Matters
Unbalanced water doesn't just look bad — it damages equipment, irritates swimmers, and costs money. We explain the consequences of neglect and the simple habits that prevent them.
Q&A
The last portion of every session is yours. Ask anything — about your specific equipment, past issues, or what you've been wondering about for years.

Why Learn from Kleen Water?
Our technicians aren't just service workers — they're CPO-certified pool professionals with 20+ years of combined experience. Pool School is taught by the same people who maintain pools across Collin County every week.
CPO-Certified Instructors
Every Pool School session is led by a Certified Pool Operator — not a salesperson or a call center rep.
Real-World Knowledge
We service dozens of pools every week. We know what actually goes wrong, what homeowners miss, and what makes the biggest difference.
No Sales Pitch
Pool School is education, not a sales call. We're here to teach you, not sell you. If you want service afterward, great — but there's zero pressure.
Pool School FAQ
Do I have to be a Kleen Water customer to book Pool School?
No. Pool School is available to any pool owner in our service area — whether you're a current customer, a new homeowner, or just want to learn more about your pool.
How long is Pool School?
Each session is approximately 1 hour, conducted at your home, at your pool.
What does Pool School cost?
Pool School is a flat $150 per session. No hidden fees, no upselling.
What should I have ready before the session?
Just make sure we have access to your pool and equipment pad. If you have any past service records or know of specific issues, feel free to mention them — but it's not required.
Will you try to sell me a maintenance plan?
We won't pressure you. Pool School is education-focused. If you're interested in ongoing service after the session, we're happy to talk — but it's completely your call.
Can Pool School help me if I already have a pool service company?
Absolutely. Understanding your own pool makes you a more informed customer. You'll know what's being done, why it matters, and when something doesn't seem right.
